Line network of the underground train

u-bahnhof

No one can compare to Berlin's expansive network of underground transportation tracks. 144 kilometres of tracks on nine lines connect all parts of Berlin. Here there are neither red light, nor traffic jams, even during the rush hour. The train can reach an average velocity of 31.1 km/h. That is how fast you can get from the edge of Berlin to the city.

The downloadable chart of the network shows how the network is laid out. You can see the locations of the main connecting stations, and which lines cross through which neighbourhoods.
