Billboard advertising in bus shelters

Whenever passengers have to wait for the bus or the tram, they wait with a roof over their heads. They spend various minutes in one of the many thousands of public transportation stops and when they are asked, they are able to perfectly recall the content of the billboard advertisement. There is no other distraction or entertainment at those stops than the small- and large-scaled information surfaces.

Good recognition, even of small billboards

Even smaller posters have a good chance of being recognised in the bus shelters, because of the waiting time and the small distance between passenger and poster. This is rare in outdoor advertising.

Out of the altogether 600 bus shelters, networks of 180 locations each can be selected. The district-networks have been broken-up and integrated into other networks since the beginning of 2008.

However, there is no possibility of booking a 4/1 non-illuminated poster in Berlin. This format is reserved for the backlit City Light Poster. The bookable poster formats in the bus shelters are DIN A0 (84.1 x 118.1 cm) and DIN A1(84.1 x 59.4 cm) in upright or landscape format.
