Airports are where people from all over the world come together. Tourists and business travellers, fair visitors and commuters, airport personnel and people waiting to pick up their freinds and family are all present in the same area.

Between check-in and departure the passengers usually spend a lot of time at the airport and can therefore view your advertisement closely and for more than just a moment. An airport offers a great variety of interesting media, among those are huge backlit surfaces such as intelligently placed smaller A0-posters and creative formats like suitcases on the baggage carousels.

There are two airports in Berlin

Berlin has two airports. The highly frequented airport Tegel is mostly used by business travellers and counts about 14,5 million passengers every year. 49,5 % of these are business travellers. Statistically, 60% of the airports air traffic is concentrated in the terminal A.

The airport Schönefeld will transform into the large international airport BER in Summer of 2012. In 2008, the airport counted about 6,6 million passengers, but it is rapidly growing. Up to now, Schönefeld is known for its internationality. 83% of its flights are international. Ist visitors are therefore to a large extend travelling tourists.
