It's all about the production
Printing of Billboards and Large-Scales
The posters for columns and large-scales are usually printed on 100 – 120 g/qm poster paper. The posters are first soaked in a liquid glue solution and then directly thereafter applied before drying. The poster paper maintains its strength while wet, as not to tear during application. In addition, the posters also have a blue back-side, in order to avoid the content of old posters shining through. Depending on the format, the posters have to be delivered separately.
Printing of City Light Posters
We utilize white, translucent, 150 g/qm paper that is matted on both sides. A higher-quality advertising image, especially when backlit, is accomplished through the implementation of double-sided printing. In this case we would recommend a 4-/3-colour print.
Billboards "Special Surfaces"
With a minimum display period of 12 months, surfaces can be additionally printed onto a foil backing and laminated. This way, the paper does not absorb any humidity and will not swell or change shape. Only with such a procedure can the poster's optimal presence over many months be guaranteed.
Printing of Interior Advertising Inside Busses and Trains
Strips on the sides of busses and trains above the windows, adhesive film on windows, and other surfaces are all printed on film. If you are planning on running a longer advertising campaign, we recommend a lamination procedure.
